ENDOMAG Juin 2004 N°47: 13-15   (English translation)

The Trans-Obturator Tape For the Treatment of
Female Stress Urinary Incontinence.
-Multicentre Study of 140 cases

CONCLUSION
The trans obturator route seems to bring an advantage in terms of morbidity and safety associated with a low rate of de novo symptoms  and with comparable results to the technique of reference (TVT). This result is, we believe, a combination of the surgical technique and an implant suited to the specific requirements of this surgewry. This series is continuing to be followed, as the confirmation of these first results need to be confirmed by a larger number of cases.

Summary of results from Table N°5 of the French text
