 Genesis Medical supplies two electrostimulation units for treating urge and stress incontinence as well as pain. These are ideal for home use. On the right is the Logistim which folds into a very compact unit. Below is the Intellistim which is about the same size as the Logistim when open. Both units include a selection of programs to treat Urge and also Stress incontinence and pain. Simply select the desired program, connect a vaginal or anal probe, then turn up the current. Most programs last for 20 minutes and the device then turns off automatically. The sensation is similar to pins and needles. For urge incontinence, turn the current as high as bearable - the higher the current, the sooner will the urge symptoms reduce and then, in most cases be significantly improved or cured.  For those experienced in the field and wishing to change the electrical parameters, both units allow Frequency, Pulse width, current ramp-up time, work time, ramp-down time, rest time, and session duration values to be adjusted.The Intellistim will automatically increase rest time when frequency is increased in order not to excessively fatigue the muscles. The Logistim does not make automatic adjustments. For those wanting to use only the programs already in the device, we recommend the Logistim because it has larger buttons.
